Summary/Abstract: All operations, such as the transport factors of production or transport of the final product to the buyer, constitute transport activities. Countries mostly prefer the sea route for the transfer of products because the vessels with large tonnage can carry overloads at long distances at once, and thus reduce the cost of transport. In this paper, firstly maritime transport of our country is examined by presenting data on maritime transport, and then the effect of industrial production on marine transportation is investigated. It has been tried to predict how the change in industrial production in our country affects our marine trade by using an econometric analysis, and also to give some advises to improve maritime transport.
