International Position of States in the Eyes of Selected Student Groups

Summary/Abstract: The main subject of interest in the article is the international position of states,obtained on the basis of surveys of four student groups from Slovenia, Poland,Slovakia and Ukraine in 2015-2017. The results of using the formal model werealso added to the evaluation of the position of the states. First, the results werecompared between student groups, and then between student groups and the resultsof the adoption of the formula used.The article’s structure consists of three points. The first presents the researchmethodology, the second provides the necessary theoretical foundation regardingthe position and power of states, the third contains the results of the survey togetherwith their comparison to the results based on the formal model. Finally, the summaryand the conclusions are provided.
