Summary/Abstract: What can mediaeval toponyms tell us about the topography and the environment of western Sava valley? What are the main features of that area? The research is based on the oldest toponimycal attestations, and focused on their interpretation. Toponyms that have been annalysed apartain to the western part of the valley, between the Vrapčak creek and river Krapina. The corpus of medieaval attestations is based on published historical sources.
