Summary/Abstract: Advances in hardware and software, easiness of access to the Internet, increasing the bandwidth and the advance of wireless connections are important elements in the context of increasing integration with the practice of journalism training. A growing number of online programs are offered to teachers. In this phase, the online training requires close monitoring, clear standards and a continuous demand for quality. Authors' approach is based on the concept of self-regulation which requires a new way in the development of print media. Changing the design and development approach is revealed by the printed media formats of unusual dimensions that defy division into classical formats. This is done by: investment in Free Press; large-scale development strategies complementary products (CDs, DVDs,books offered at low prices with the number of newspaper etc.); development of abbreviated versions of printed newspapers; tabloidisation of quality newspapers.
