Summary/Abstract: In this paper analysis of globalization is made with KOF index, defined by ETH, Swiss Economic Institute, which computes this index from 1970. KOF is determined by three dimensions, economic, social and politic. Economic Globalization is computed with a) Data on actual Flows formed by Trade (percent of GDP), Foreign Direct Investment, stocks (percent of GDP), Portfolio Investment (percent of GDP), Income Payments to Foreign Nationals (percent of GDP) b) Data on restrictions formed by Hidden Import Barriers, Mean Tariff Rate, Taxes on International Trade, Capital Account Restrictions. Data for Social Globalization are a) Data on Personal Contact formed by Telephone Traffic, Transfers, International Tourism, Foreign Population, International letters b) Data on Information Flows composed by Internet Users (per 1000 people), Television (per 1000 people), Trade in Newspapers (percent of GDP) c) Data on Cultural Proximity (Number of McDonald's Restaurants (per capita), Number of Ikea (per capita), Trade in books (percent of GDP)). Political Globalization is determined by Embassies in Country, Membership in International Foreign Organizations, Participation in U.N. Security Council Missions and International Treaties. ETH study was added with a cluster analysis model. In model was introduced and another variable, country surface. The European countries was grouped on 6 levels, each level with his clustering.
