Summary/Abstract: Test anxiety is an important factor that affects the success of a student during his education life as well as his performance in the examinations. Students who are introduced to examinations in the beginning of the school years are exposed to tests throughout their lives. Primary school students who are expected to learn to share during that age find themselves in a competitive environment in order to attain success. The aim of this study is to investigate whether text anxiety differs according to the students’ gender and class. The sample consists of 165 students who are at 6th, 7th and 8th grade. A test anxiety scale has concurrently been applied to the students. According to the results of this study, there is a significant difference of test anxiety in terms of class levels whereas there is no significant difference of test anxiety in terms of the genders of the students.
