Summary/Abstract: At the begining author deals with the definitions of the main concepts (sport, socialization). Then he shows the influence of sport socialization factors on societal level -mass media, political organizations). In the second part of the paper he explains the role of primary groups (family, peers) and secondary groups (school, army, sport club) in the process of socialization.
