Summary/Abstract: As a result of the fight of the Turkish nation against the super powers of that time under Atatürk's leadership resulting in victory, Turkey has become the symbol of independence of suffering nations across the world. After the war, the radical reforms of Ataturk have turned Turkey into a country that is exemplary in the world. Knowing the degree of his own means and power, Atatürk wished that all humanity would live in peace according to the political conditions of that period. He never broke his connections with the Turkish people living outside the Turkish geography and took steps for strengthening the cultural bonds. The most beautiful example of the policies followed by Atatürk, which is rational and based on the conditions of the day, is the process of Hatay joining the Homeland. As a result of Atatürk's guidance and activities in the field of implementation, after the uncompromising implementation of the principles of realism, commitment to law, full independence, ability to plan the future, reliability and nationalism, which became the basis of the Turkish foreign policy, he appeared as a respected, reliable and strong actor within the world. Activities towards the establishment of a common language and culture in the Turkish world has been the hallmark of this period, but after Atatürk died, main policies regarding the Turkish world were completely forgotten, and historical and cultural bonds of Turkey with the Turkish People Abroad came to the breaking point.
