Summary/Abstract: The text represents a comparative analysis of the ideas and beliefs about two demonic beings from the traditional Bulgarian folklore in the mountainous and semi-mountainous part of Stara Planina in the Montana region – Water Bull and Dragon. The study shows that they are local variations of the same demonic power.
