METHODOLOGICAL TOPICS IN SOCIOLOGICAL JOURNALS IN SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: A good indicator of the foundation and development of any science, among other things, is the interest in its methodological problems. Although extremely useful, the study of methodology does not stop at an insight into the achieved research practice standard, evident above all in research studies dedicated to various problems in which the applied scientific procedure is presented. Of particular importance is the systematization and the presentation of the outcome of studying certain methodological issues resulting from the generalization of results obtained during the consideration and application of the methods of a particular science, regardless of whether it is an analysis of general logical-epistemological problems, a study of method modifications created by the changes in a particular paradigm and its individual theoretical concretizations, or a problem in developing certain types of research designs, the application of certain methods and techniques for collecting and analyzing empirical material, etc.
