Abusive clauses in the area of benefits and definition of insurance accident in life insurance

Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of examples of general conditions of life insurance related to issues such as surrender benefit, liquidation fees and the definition of an insurance accident in the context of the nature of life insurance. In this study, special attention was paid to the issue of abusive clauses in the area of liquidation fees and redemption charges and provisions for limiting the insurer’s liability for risks that occurred prior to the contracting of the insurance contract.
