Application of insurance solutions for coverage of patients claims

Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is to present how commercial insurance can be used by legislator for coverage of patients claims. The author specifies the trend which is the growing number of patients who demand compensation and tries to explain reasons of it. Moreover, the author points out the current scope of using insurance – describes third party insurance for medical entities and raises charges against that system. After that evaluates the attempt of adding no-fault patient insurance, made by the legislator in 2012. The article presents also alternatives for insurance methods. Above-mentioned reflections lead to the conclusion that it is not possible to resign insurance methods and the goal of the legislator should be developing of current system.
