Choosing a Learning Strategy for the Studies of Professional Language

Summary/Abstract: With die change in the understanding of the student’s preparation for life and activity in the rapidly changing world and in order to move from the paradigm of teaching to the paradigm of learning, die issue of the learning strategy in language studies becomes urgent. In the article the issue of choosing a learning strategy for the studies of professional language is analysed through the clarification of die relationship between learning strategies and the principles of language teaching and through the discussion of the specificity of professional language studies and the peculiarities of the choice of learning strategies conditioned by this specificity.
