Summary/Abstract: The translation proposed by Jean Poncet proves an extremely profound knowing of Blaga’s philosophy and, in the same time, of Romanian language. Mastering the profoundness of the meanings, the sensitivity of the translator is harmoniously in accordance with the sensitivity of the poet. The proposed translation gracefully reunites the language with the extratextual references and the references related to the spirituality of the Romanian people. Hence, this is order of the stages chosen by Jean Poncet for the fulfilment of his project, an order that is suggested in the foreword of the book. The editorial presentation of the book is exceptional, highlighting, once again, the importance of Blaga’s work for the Romanian literature and the duty we have to make the creation of this author well-known in the entire world.
