Summary/Abstract: Report on Prof. Adam Dziadek’s query at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library (Yale Universty). The archive called Aleksander Wat Papers consists at present of a total of twenty-two boxes (numbered 1–22) with materials and three boxes (marked A, B, C) containing correspondence which has been quite well put in an order. One of the query’s results was the finding and subsequent editing of Po śmierci, an unfinished short story by Wat, published for the first time ever in the present issue.
