Summary/Abstract: The establishment of the government of Dr. Petru Groza, on March 6, 1945, under the pressure of the Soviet occupant, was followed by a process of transformation of the Romanian traditional institutions, on which the rule of law was founded: justice, school, church and the army. In the military institution, those transformations took place under the slogan of the "democratization of the army". In fact, the action of "democratization of the army," was the screen behind which two trials were carried out. First, there was a politicizing of the military institution, transforming the mentalities, transforming it into an annexation of the communist party . Secondly, the "democratization" of the army also targeted a process of destruction of the body of personnel whose value had been thoroughly proven during the Second World War.
