Ideology and Culture of the Interwar Generation

Summary/Abstract: The interwar period was marked by a multitude of prefaces in which the ethical and ideological options created an amalgam from which truth can be decanted with difficulty. Our study seeks to highlight some of the features that shape the interwar generation and the Romanian culture of those years: the struggle with the old mentalities; defending European values; outlining ethno-nationalist ideals; imposing the Romanian "experientialism" and authenticity on social life, politics and culture.
