Summary/Abstract: Theatre and theatre pedagogy are forms and means of knowledge based on dialogue and dialogism. Thus, through the scenic and pedagogical event, a communication is provided from which the “murmur” of the adjoining speeches, from yesterday or today, conforming or not to the fixed goal cannot be evacuated. The “text” uttered in a scenic way, appears to us as a collage of other texts, as a continuous hybridization of statements, as the fruit of a “dialogue of subjectivities” released from the Tower of Babel. The actor’s entry into the “role” implies the assuming of the other’s statement, at the same time giving up a part of their self, through which the other is given room to find his place (to live) in the other. Our study attempts to outline a few research directions that the theatre and the performing arts can open through the interpretation of a dialogue and the recognition of dialogism as a statement that comes unconditionally in meeting other statements.
