Summary/Abstract: On June 28, 1936, on the invitation of his voters from the Vinţu de Jos commune – from the former Arad County Council, Iuliu Maniu delivered a speech of maximum historical resonance. On this occasion, the great politician inventoried, in slightly laudatory words, the achievements of the National Peasants’ Party – PNŢ, at the same time criticizing the liberals, his permanent political opponents, and King Carol II, too, whom he approved of and endeavored to reinstate him on the throne.
