Summary/Abstract: The present paper proposes an interpretative model of the discourse of the political police archives. We will attempt to explore narrativity and representation inside the documents that originate in the Securitate archives, focusing on several files regarding a group of clerics and laics who were targets of communist political repression. The paper will attempt to use the perspective of discourse analysis and historical semantics and see how they apply to the language of the documents. Specifically, we will analyse the manner in which documents from the archives of the Securitate reflect the story of the arrest and sentencing of the community known as the Burning Bush group, during the 1958 wave of political repression.
