Summary/Abstract: Kyrgyz sculpture art has been developing slowly comparing to paintings and graphic areas of the plastic arts when evaluating the available datas. When taking the quantitive and qualitive datas from 1930s to now into consideration, Kyrgyz sculpture art has been shaped around several artists. The first sculpture workshop was established by Laslo Mesorosh who lived in Biskek in 1930s and O. Manuylov, V. Puzyravsky, N. Lodiagin and G. Tupy have followed him. These artists who could be identified as the first generation of Kyrgyz sculpture arts have made many sculpture which were small and monumental scaled and bounded strictly to Russian sculpture tradition. In 1960s the new generation sculptors continuied to produce unique works by taking the Kyrgyz culture into consideration like the first generation. While this seeking was limited for the sculptors like A. Mukhutdinov, V. Shestopal and D. Kheizde; Z. Khabibulin and T. Sadykay had an pioneer attidute by tending to complicated forms in terms of plastic in seeking and expressing national identity. The real human symbols, science and cultural figures, different job workers was concreated by Savdkov in plastic forms and formed to works showing his creative characters of sculptor who fed by deep cultural memories. Turgunbai Sadykov, beyond his artist character, in 1991, was rector of Frunz High Arts Collage and was principal of Kyrgyz Republic National Art Academy for long years. He played an important role in development of young sculptors and art education of nation with educational and administrational mission of Kyrgyz education. This research is very important in terms of the art of Kyrgyz sculpture of small-sized and monumental scale figüre sculptures Turgunbai Sadykov focuses on the antiquity and modern history of Kyrgyzstan and his identity as an artist and art educator connecting the present and the future with the past. The aim of this study is to present a general and comprehensive approach to the method of inductive and descriptive analysis.
