Summary/Abstract: The study considers the formation of Hungarian cultural regions as a historical fact and it focuses on the peculiarities of Hungarian minority literature beyond the borders. The formation of regional values usually does not assume experimentation, but it rather applies the usual narratives and creates a unique way of communication and language style with its specific thinking characteristics and emphases. In many pieces of Hungarian literature in Slovakia the means of artistic expression were minority fate and experience, which provided facts for the interpretation of minority literature. Similar processes and factors have shaped the Central European culture and its literary characters. Based on this, we need to get to the deeper layers of literature and creative motivation in order to create a credible image about the relationship between minority identity and literary value. The path of minority authors’development leads from the search for reality, morality, identity and other literary values to the finding of aesthetics.
