Summary/Abstract: This article is dedicated to some legal problems of the rational use of water in the Republic of Bulgaria. The attention is paid mainly to the legal tools in this direction under the Water Act of 1999. In the conclusion, more general conclusions were drawn from the legal regulation considered.
