Summary/Abstract: On November 10 and 11, 2005 the Department of Ethics of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Vilnius Pedagogic University, in cooperation with Mark Bloch University - Strasbourg II (France), and with the support of the French Embassy in Lithuania and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, held the international conference "Jacques Derrida: The Theory of Difference and Social Space". The conference devoted sacred to the memory of the distinguished contemporary French philosopher Jacques Derrida (1930-2004).
