Summary/Abstract: The article describes the role of music therapy in working with children with special educational needs. The author presents the definition of music therapy in the general context as well as in the context of child therapy. The article draws attention to appropriate music selection and identifies the goals and forms of therapeutic sessions for children with autism and impaired hearing and eyesight.
