Internet Frauds from the Polish and American Police Perspective

Summary/Abstract: Internet fraud is increasing, however, its prosecution remains at a relatively low level in many jurisdictions. One factor which may account for the said situation is the police preparedness to investigate Internet fraud crime. The paper explores this hypothesis on the basis of two surveys: the first one conducted in the United States and the second - in Poland.
