Jewish Press Publications from Transylvania

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to create an exhaustive list of Jewish periodicals published in Transylvania. It was not our intention to include the publications in which Jewish journalists also published, but only those that identifi ed themselves as Jewish newspapers. Besides the reports and other publications of Jewish communities, we searched for the magazines of Jewish schools, youth publications, yearbooks and religious newspapers, to obtain a full picture of the history of the Jewish press from Transylvania.
