ANALYSIS OF INTERPRETATIONS OF TERMS WHICH ARE USED TO CONVEY THE ESSENCE OF THE CONCEPT OF ”REHABILITATION” IN FRENCH AND UKRAINIAN

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the interpretation of French terms ”médecine (f) physique et de réadaptation” / ”MPR”, ”physiothérapie” (f), ”réadaptation” (f), ”rééducation” (f), ”réhabilitation” (f), ”réinsertion” (f) and Ukrainian terms ”реабілітація”, ”фізіотерапія”, ”фізична та реабілітаційна медицина” / ”ФРМ”. Topicality of the study is due to the fact that the scientific communication between relevant specialists, the translation of a wide range of information in this area, and, after all, the communication between disabled person and physical therapist, whereas one of them is Ukrainian, and the other is French, require a translated dictionary. The main research methods were descriptive, comparable and the method of classification.
