Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the Article. Objective of the article is to characterize the competitive entertaining game programs as a form of spectacular performance, determine their role and place in the organization of entertainment shows, search for amateur talents, and analyze the methods of their creation. Methodology. The methodology of the research consists in the application of analytical, art, functional, cultural, comparative and topological methods of study of competitive entertaining game programs as forms of spectacular representation, their history of existence in leisure of the individual and in variety art, analysis of their varieties, types, genres, their artistic and aesthetic values in public life and in the development of creative skill of the ordinary citizen. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the research is the following - for the first time the classification of competitive, entertaining game forms was carried out according to their varieties and genre features, and a model of the structure of their design and embodiment was identified. For the first time, the analysis of the creative process of modern competitive entertaining game programs on domestic television has been performed. Conclusions. As a result of the report of the study, we can conclude that the primary task of modern competitive, entertaining game programs is to find and uncover new talents, spread their extraordinary abilities and give them professional help in achieving the appropriate skills. These entertainment spectacles form aesthetic tastes of spectators and participants raise the mood, fill free time with leisure. And the most important is the competitive, entertaining game programs inspire enough broad sections of the population to create creativity in any sphere of human activity and aim at the desire to achieve an impossible dream, attract to participate in the fight for a better future – the choice of the desired profession in the field of the art.
