Building the Modern Image of the Koszalin University of Technology

Summary/Abstract: The author has explored the image of the Koszalin University of Technology (TU), taking into account the university’s image among the people being in constant contact with the university – the students of the TU. The second image is held by the representatives of further environment. Both groups have given similar answers to detailed questions con-cerning university’s activities. The TU has undertaken many innovative initiatives in this cen-tury, such as: introducing new subjects and promotion activities. The action of developing new societies praising its name is generally well known, but facts from the life of the uni-versity are no so well known. The university does not appear as an institution of bad image. Highly appreciated are investments, developing new undertakings, cooperation with busi-ness representatives and contacts with media.
