Summary/Abstract: Performing a review of the dynamic of educational paradigms, this article is focused on rejecting the arguments of those who claim that the evolution of the information logistics (internet, television, radio, etc.) could not only decrease the teacher’s role, but it could also risk replacing them in the educational process. In response, the fact that the above-mentioned prophecy derives from a false premise, namely mistaking the educational system with the mere transmission of information is defined using a consistent set of arguments. Placing the educational system within the complexity of the social contemporary space offers the possibility to clarify the epistemological criteria of curricular reformations as well as to specify the teacher’s position and role in generating new models for learners so they can relate to the present and future of the human society. Education was always focused on teaching the creativity resources, and this objective remains unchanged as a strategic objective of the School for the future too.
