Summary/Abstract: The research aims to track the format of audience's contact with the radio, and the focus is on the direct involvement of the audience in the development of the radio program. The analysis should also answer the question: Does the audience manage to create their own forms of radio content that show specific traits and could that be referred as “genre”? When listeners are becoming part of the radio content and is there a strong feedback? On the other hand, the research will also focus on a brief historical background to check out which genres are specially made to meet the needs of the audience, in which broadcasts the audience’s voice could be heard, since when listeners share their signals and issues, for which they seek journalistic assistance.
