The sunset of COVID-19 in the regional media. Thematic and genre reproduction of the crisis in the regional radio stations in the Bulgarian national radio network

Summary/Abstract: This report is concentrated on the question how the “Covid-19” problem is presented by the regional radio stations in the Bulgarian national radio network. The study should find out what importance is attached to coronavirus issues, and also observes whether journalists help audiences understand the current situation and recognize fake news. The monitoring allows to summarize that in the studied period the health topic has been neglected, at the expense of other questions such as the local specifics, the political upheavals and the minutes for art and culture.
