Summary/Abstract: Writing about a dear friend is not an easy task, even if one is expected to write merely a brief note. This task is all the more difficult if the author is to write about a person with whom she spent many wonderful moments in her hometown, Despotovac, in Gornja Resava, where the unforgettable friend stayed very often, feeling as is if she had been among her own kin. She was greeted with respect and everybody was glad to hear her word. A couple of pages written on this occasion will present to the readers an exceptional personality, which Prof. Jelka Ređep, PhD, truly was and will always remain as such in my memory. With her expertise and presentation style, she left an imprint on the cultural events organized in August in Despotovac, well-known as the Days of Serbian Spiritual Transformation.
