Practical aspects of applying the selected model of managing knowledge derived from project experience

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this paper is to analyze the problem of how to apply the conceptual model for managing project knowledge effectively. The paper shows how the application of a project knowledge model enables the organization's capability of learning from projects from the perspective of people (learning, culture, social) and systems (technology, process, infrastructure). The action research method applied in this study, comprising cyclical planning, actions, observation and reflection, allows the identification of facilitators and barriers in organizational learning and makes it possible to create a system of organizational knowledge connections, critical for the process of disseminating and applying project experience.
