Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of research that concerned looking for and analyzing the practices of collecting and applying project experience in Polish organizations. In the literature on the subject, research on this topic is sparse. The discussed empirical study aimed to fill the research gap in the field of the analysis of activities and benefits achieved by organizations in Poland by collecting and applying knowledge acquired while implementing projects. The study used quantitative methods and a questionnaire sent to project management specialists in the country. On the one hand, the obtained results clearly indicate a high level of awareness regarding the practice of applying projects' experiences, but on the other, relatively low implementation, despite the perceived potential benefits of using them. The new achievement of this research in Poland was revealing the relationship between the application of knowledge from projects and organizational culture as a crucial element in the process of organizational learning.
