Summary/Abstract: Social media is one of the fastest growing forms of communication. Tesco is a corporation specializing in retail. The scale of operation does not mean a lack of adaptation to local market characteristics. Social media allows to that adaptation. Very interesting question is how Tesco uses social media in communication process. This article compares formally used social media by Tesco in Poland and in the UK. Additionally the author will try to point out the similarities and the differences between both countries.
