Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between health expenditures and economic growth by using the data of 36 OECD countries for the period 2000-2017 with Pedroni ve Westerlund tests. Pedroni and Westerlund tests, which ignore the cross-sectional dependence, show that there is a long-term relationship between health expenditures and economic growth. However, the obtained results considering the cross-sectional dependence do not support the findings that there is a long-term cointegration relationship between health expenditures and economic growth. The findings of the research showed that health expenditures are not a determinant of growth in the long term.
