Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to determine the key positions of improving the hotel service in the context of the innovative development of the hospitality industry. Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research consists of general scientific and special methods of scientific analysis. In particular, the methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction - to generalize the theoretical concepts used to assess managerial processes in the hotel business. The following approaches were also applied: systemic and complex - to characterize innovations in the hotel service and to assess the overall state of the organizational and economic mechanism of management of hotel enterprises, etc. The scientific novelty consists of a deepening of scientific-methodological and practical positions concerning innovative approaches used in the modern hotel industry. Conclusions. The innovative policy of a hotel company is a set of principles and measures aimed at improving the basic processes of providing services in order to implement an innovation strategy. In the era of market relations, globalization, the Internet, internationalization, and expansion of the horizons, there is clearly a continuous struggle for customers. It is possible to achieve significant results in a competitive struggle only as a result of the effective policy of the hotel company provided that it is innovative, which involves expanding the range of services, improving the quality of service, using the leading innovative technologies and using the latest hotel management techniques.
