The Classical Science Picture of World and Classical Musical Style: about the Specific of Epoch’s Frame of Mind

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is the presentation common direction of the reflection of the world by science and musical art in the 18th century. Methodology. The article used the method of the analogy and methods of comparative and structural analysis. The scientific novelties of this text are the definition of levels in which comparison scientific and art world view in certain historical epoch can occur, the definition of fundamental principles of scientific and musical thinking that characterizing classical science picture of the world and classical music style. Conclusions. At the end of the 17th and in the 18th centuries the representation of the world the wonderful by its unity, rationality, inner simplicity, and integrity was created. On the base of researching the musical language of the classical style and I. Newton‘s approach to the researching of nature was determined that the fundamental principles of the classical frame of mind are universalism, determinism, reduction.
