Summary/Abstract: Term „political communication“ hangs together with the politics, political field and decision mechanism in the postmodern society. Political communication is the process in the first of all. It is part of human, public communication. This process hangs together with changes of political authority since the 16 th century. The important role performs press. Press as relatively independent instrument for realization of human freedom. Author thinks about the growth of interaction media, its interference in the political establishment. This essay contains some reflections about the perspectives in the political communication and its instruments, f.e. Net.
