Summary/Abstract: Article is about the self-empowerment process of woman, who in the past were under control of formal institutions. To illustrate the raised issues ten narrative interviews (including appropriate analytical procedure F. Schütze) were conducted with women who were in youth educational center in the past. On the basis of this analysis I conducted a reconstruction of methods of supporting in process of self- empowerment revealed in individual experiences of the examined individuals. On the one hand, the process of self-empowerment promote (facilitates) social readaptation. On the other hand, the financial help on continuing education which doesn’t link to independent life and help to obtaining adequate housing, including a social house usually allocated people in dysfunctional society, it is only seeming to help.
