Summary/Abstract: The article examines the possible criminal implications of the parliamentary strike on the term of Parliamentarians and to what extent the refusal to take part in the work of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies represents a democratic form of protest or an illicit act. In the present legal context but mostly in the political context, the parliamentary strike may become a common practice of the opposition, which may lead to the temporary blocking of the legislative power. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the risks to be borne by the Members of the Parliament and the measures that can be taken to control this form of protest.
