Summary/Abstract: Providing a space of freedom, security and justice is an objective assumed by the European Union which has imposed the adoption of new ways of ensuring judicial assistance between Member States. Thus, legal assistance in criminal matters within the European Union gained new values, Member States being called upon to improve and widen the scope of insurance of the assistance through new forms aimed at ensuring the prevention and combating crime at a high level.
