Summary/Abstract: Unlike the provisions of the previous Code of Criminal Proceedings, which included two alternatives for the execution of provisional release, namely the provisional release under judicial control and the provisional release on bail, we can see now that with the provisions of Law 135/2010 on the Code of Criminal Proceedings, these preventive measures without deprivation of liberty have suffered some changes aimed at diversifying the preventive measures that may be ordered in the course of the criminal trial.
