Summary/Abstract: As a pioneer endeavor, Adriana Zaharijević's "Glossary of Queer Theory" opens up a possibility for public insights into a lengthy, but little known, queer subculture. In this introduction to the glossary the author makes sketches of the practices of queer theorists in reinterpreting and presenting identities as multiple, unstable, pragmatic, constantly open and contestable, as well as the theoretising manner from the standpoint of the marginalised and rejected ones. What is cited as the primary goal of the aforementioned glossary is opening new perspectives, productive debunking and marking the differences, which, in turn, makes it an attempt at disrupting, shaking and dissolving taken-for-granted status quo.
