Summary/Abstract: The author states out a claim that one of the most frequent pseudo arguments used in condemnation of homosexuality is the one which denies it its "naturalness". What is ascertained is a huge contribution of sociology to denaturalizing of the social world through historization of the social institutions, roles and identities, as well as the fact that sexuality has been the last social area which, until recently, remained "natural", or, at best, a "personal thing" put aside in the private sphere. Social con- structionism has been identified as the perspective which marked the turning point in sociological dealing with (homo)sexuality. The rest of the paper gives an overview of the texts which are published in the special issue of the Teme journal dedicated to the studying of homosexuality.
