OPINIONS AND LAW-MAKING PROPOSALS ON THE ADMINISTRATION OF ANOTHER’S PROPERTY

Summary/Abstract: Aside from “unifying” the private law by abandoning the traditional duality (distinction) which represented the base of the Romanian legal system for a long period of time, distinction which implied the separation of the trade law from the provisions of the civil law, unification (harmonization) made possible by the coming into force of the new Civil Code, some outdated legal institutions have been brought up to date and, more important than that, some new institutions have been created within the Romanian legal system, for example: administration of another’s property, fiducia, temporary property, matrimonial regimes, etc
