THE WAR EXPERIENCE OF THE ROMANIAN ARMY

Summary/Abstract: The authors, starting from constitutional statement according to which Romania is a unitary and sovereign state, located in Central Europe, full member of Nord Atlantic Treaty Organization and of European Union, researching the military history of the Romanian nation, concluded that it is a military power by tradition, that ensures its national security and exports security in the Old World (Europe, Africa and Asia), as part of its political and military alliances.The article is a research of the military campaigns that Romanian Army took part in during the difficult history of the nation it defended, and also presents a series of lessons learned from the army’s victories and defeats.
