Summary/Abstract: Real estate acquisitive prescription or acquisitive prescription represents one of the primary means of obtaining the right of private property. In our current legislation, the real estate acquisitive prescription knows important modifications by comparing it with the past civil legislation, reason that led us to strive to present it in the current legislation, without lapsing the transient norms of the Law no. 71/2011 and the civil procedure norms that cover this topic.
